Kettletown State Park.

My husband and I hiked in Kettletown State Park in Southbury, CT today. It was a pretty hike even though it was cloudy. The temperature was perfect, right around 53 degrees. We have been trying to hike any chance we get to prepare ourselves for our vacation to Banff National Park. If all goes well with this quarantine being lifted, we will be going there in July! (Finger’s crossed!) We walked the Pomperaug Trail and the Crest Trail today for a total of 4.26 miles and 956 feet elevation gain.

We just got the GoPro Hero 8 Black camera so we’ve been playing with the settings/ features on it. The video below is from the hike, overlooking Lake Zoar on the Crest Trail.

Have any of you hiked this trail before?
